• Voted Raleigh’s Best Nonprofit Organization and Raleigh’s Best Mental Health Services two years in a row!** Position Summary Under the supervision of the assigned department lead, the Administrative Assistant functions as the primary clerical and administrative support staff for the department. If administrative duties are shared with other personnel, this individual oversees the coordination of all such tasks. This role includes a broad range of responsibilities, including front desk coverage, client interaction, internal documentation management, and support of clinical and human resources activities. The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for individuals visiting or calling the location. Essential Job Functions • Respond to incoming phone calls, walk-ins, and electronic inquiries promptly and courteously; route communications appropriately and take accurate messages. • Perform clerical duties including word processing, data entry, filing, generating reports, copying, and document distribution in accordance with specified deadlines. • Draft, review, and prepare outgoing correspondence, purchase orders, and mailings. • Assist with reporting systems in compliance with ESUCP, Mental Health, and Medicaid standards. • Coordinate referrals and personnel applications; support applicant processing and documentation. • Schedule and coordinate office equipment maintenance and supply ordering. • Collaborate with Headquarters to facilitate billing and claims submission. • Participate in HR-related tasks including application handling, reference checks, and new hire orientations. • Schedule and confirm appointments for physicians, OPT, nurses, and group services, including: Why Join Us?
