The Senior Accountant for the Insurance division is a key owner of accurate, timely financials across multiple entities. This role steers the monthly close, safeguards strong internal controls, and delivers clear, decision-ready analyses to leadership. As a trusted partner to Operations, FP&A, and Tax, the Senior Accountant translates complex activity into clean financial outcomes, coordinates audit and compliance needs, and continually improves processes through automation and rigor. Beyond steady-state accounting, this role leads high-impact initiatives that elevate reporting quality, efficiency, and control across the insurance portfolio.What you will do as a Sr. Accountant, InsurancePrepares journal entries for assigned areas, utilizes analysis & quick balancing checks to ensure accuracy and completeness in bookings needed in fast-paced monthly closePrepares balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned areas timely, independently resolves issuesHelps design and maintain accounting policies and procedures, with consideration of internal controls.
