View GDPR Policy ABOUT OUR TEAM We are a remote-first team that sits across Europe and North America and comes together once a month in-person for 3 days and for longer offsites twice a year. Our R&D and production teams are a combination of more research and more engineering-oriented profiles, however, everyone deeply cares about the quality of the systems we build and has a strong underlying knowledge of software development. We believe that good engineering leads to faster development iterations, which allows us to compound our efforts. ABOUT THE ROLE Be the liaison between our Enterprise customers and our Cloud Engineers. Solution Architects onboard new customers to ensure that customers are able to install, manage and monitor poolside's platform. YOUR MISSION Work with customers to deliver a scalable poolside product by customizing the deployment scripts to fit specific customer infrastructure requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES You will use your expertise and customer knowledge, to support the engineering team to design and implement, performant, secure, and scalable solutions while building a standard poolside platform. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Collaborate with customers to adapt the cloud architecture to the customer reality while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectures, configurations, procedures, and customer interactions Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions Comfortable with distributed systems Data pipelines, distributed processing, fault tolerance, performance optimization Message queues, event-driven architectures, e.g. Kafka, Google pub/sub Clouds: managed services, storage.
