We are interviewing qualified candidates for the position of Assistant General Manager of our retail showroom located at 165 Stones River Rd LaVergne, TN 37086. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated a solid base of retail, and big-ticket sales management experience, and will possess a high level of demonstrated expertise in Hiring, Sales Process, Training, Operations, and Sales Management. Compensation ranges from 65k-95k+ for this position, based on experience, scope of management duties, and ability to affect ROI, in a combination of base salary and commission/bonuses, dependent on your measured ability to; • recruit, interview, hire, and manage staff who are aligned with the company and retained to help fuel our growth • spearhead ongoing training with a broad array of staff in operations, product/ service knowledge in all categories, sales and customer experience • manage department operations and policy executed at a high level of discipline in order to drive productivity, efficiency, and quality work • coordinate with service, install, delivery, construction and administrative staff on those sides of the business to ensure streamlined operations, and drive the performance and behaviors in those departments • control and improve variable metrics, including revenue, unit sales, margins, expense control, labor and productivity • motivate, coach, and lead all employees to operate at a very high level of customer service AND sales/profitability Qualifications: • A minimum of at least three (3) years' strong experience or equivalent (Retail experience is required) • Experience in managing retail operations, including maintaining a clean, organized, well-merchandised building; integrity and follow-through on all operational platforms, including Pricing, Inventory, Communications, CRM, Intranet, and Google Drive • Manages and motivates staff to operate at high levels of defined behaviors and performance productivity in all departments • Demonstrates excellent written oral and communication skills • Makes appropriate judgement calls; manages priorities and workflow • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Demonstrates and manages excellent customer service skills • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions • Professional appearance and demeanor • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds In addition to a competitive salary and incentive package, we also offer Health coverage including Life/ Disability, through Mutual of Omaha, optional Dental and Vision coverage, 401(k) w match, Employee Discount, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a full menu of Comprehensive Training.
