Key Responsibilities • Manage all business office functions including billing, accounts receivable, collections, and insurance verification. • Supervise and train business office staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to billing and reimbursement. • Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to resolve billing and payment issues. • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable and revenue cycle management. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews. • Implement and improve office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. • Serve as a liaison between the facility, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing inquiries. Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare business office management or related financial role. • Strong knowledge of billing, coding, insurance verification, and reimbursement processes. • Familiarity with healthcare regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
