Prepare pizza and maintain kitchen station according to guidelines, including cleaning and restocking.
2-3 years pizza making experience, basic knife skills, ability to follow recipes independently, kitchen safety knowledge, and physical ability to stand long hours and lift 50 lbs.
Description: Daily activities include: • Sets up station according to guidelines • Follows recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics • Restocks items as needed throughout shift. • Keeps a clean, safe, organization work station • Uses/maintains all equipment in station properly • Assists with scrub down and organization of kitchen, refrigeration and storage areas, etc. • Performs additional tasks as requested • Handles food products in a thoughtful manner, generating minimal waste Requirements: Requisite Knowledge: • 2-3 years of making dough and cooking pizza • Basic knife handling skills • Following recipes without direct supervision • Basic kitchen etiquette and safety • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues Physical Demands: • Able to stand longer than 8 hrs • Able to move or lift 50 lbs • Able to bend, stoop & push
