There are many companies with a mission. We are a mission with a company. The Vendor Management Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and optimizing our external vendor partnerships. This role focuses on the coordination, documentation, and facilitation of vendor relationships—from contract tracking to onboarding and operational setup. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including IT, Sales, and Account Management to ensure that vendor solutions align with client needs and company capabilities. Primary Responsibilities: Vendor Onboarding Coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors, including timeline tracking, project setup, and cross-departmental coordination. Partner with internal IT to define inbound and outbound data file requirements and ensure fee structures are established and tested. Operational Readiness Work with IT to validate technical requirements, confirm successful data integration, and support go-live activities. Track deliverables and resolve issues to ensure a smooth vendor implementation experience for internal teams and external clients. Contract Support Review, store, and track contracts and supporting documents for all vendor relationships. Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Communicate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance guarantees to the Auditing team to ensure metrics are appropriately tracked and reported. Internal Consultation Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to assess client needs and recommend suitable vendor solutions. Maintain a working knowledge of vendor capabilities and value propositions to guide internal teams in solution selection. Ongoing Vendor Support Serve as a point of contact for internal teams with questions about vendor capabilities, processes, and requirements. Assist with renewals, updates, and changes in vendor scope or services. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in vendor management, operations coordination, or health insurance industry preferred. Familiarity with PBMs, provider networks, or other health insurance vendors is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management or project tracking tools a plus. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
