Point C is a National third-party administrator (TPA) with local market presence that delivers customized self-funded benefit programs. Our commitment and partnership means thinking beyond the typical solutions in the market – to do more for clients – and take them beyond the standard “Point A to Point B.” We have researched the most effective cost containment strategies and are driving down the cost of plans with innovative solutions such as, network and payment integrity, pharmacy benefits and care management. There are many companies with a mission. We are a mission with a company. Point C is seeking a Regional Sales Director based in a major market in the Midwest Region (OH, IN, IL, WI, MI). They will be responsible for developing and marketing business within their respective region. This position will develop successful strategies and coordinate tactical efforts for new products and long-term business goals and objectives. Responsibilities • Achieve annual new business sales objectives by successfully leveraging existing relationships, developing relationships with benefit consultants and insurance brokers to increase visibility in the assigned territory, and creating awareness of Point C’s various services. • Develop strategies to acquire new business through brokers by continuous exchange of information, sales and broker service, and the generation of broker activity. • Communicate to brokers through personal visits and newsletters, updates on new products, underwriting, and other topics of importance. • Provide quality consultative services to clients to thoroughly understand their needs and ensure our services provide maximum return. • Identify new service offerings and work closely with key partners within the organization in an effort to expand services and profitability. Qualifications • 5+ years of previous experience selling in the health insurance broker/employer community or related sales experience. • Solid understanding of third-party benefits administration. • Undergraduate Degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SalesForce. • Seasoned sales professional who understands the importance of a consultative approach to developing and maintaining client relationships. • Negotiation and influencing skills. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • High level of motivation and ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively. • Team oriented. • High level of integrity and strong work ethic. Work Environment - Fully remote, flexible with scheduling around general business hours. 50% + travel. Must have reliable internet and familiarity with digital platforms. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
