We operate as a division of Podean, a multi-award-winning global Marketplace Marketing agency. Account Manager - Social Commerce We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team. This role will primarily support the development and delivery of social commerce strategies on platforms such as TikTok Shop, with opportunities to expand across other platforms in the future. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a natural leader with a passion for social content, influencers, digital commerce, and fostering meaningful relationships. In this role, you will be interfacing with clients, fostering meaningful relationships, and driving strategic business solutions, so it’s essential you are comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Strategy Manage multiple TikTok Shop client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact, nurturing the relationship, acting as a strategic advisor, and fostering growth Develop and execute comprehensive TikTok Shop growth strategies Negotiate project, partnership and/or campaign scopes, budgets & timelines, craft supporting SOWs Evaluate KPIs and drive data-informed strategic decisions Have a pulse on the Social Commerce ecosystem and be capable of providing social ecommerce consulting strategies Affiliate & Creator Partnerships Work cross-functionally with our affiliate experts to develop affiliate/creator strategies and identify the right partners who will create content that converts and elevates the brand Build and maintain strong working relationships with TikTok creators and affiliates, ensuring seamless onboarding and high-quality content delivery for brand campaigns Stay organized with affiliate conversations and performance tracking Coach creators through video content to maximize sales conversion Drive innovative strategies to help brands overcome cold start phases TikTok Shop Management Drive innovative strategies to help brands overcome cold start phases Consult on sampling & product mix strategies Work closely with design and content team to create optimize storefront & PDP designs + content Trendspotting and Innovation Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies across social commerce ecosystem Experiment with new features and formats, pioneering approaches to build our brand partners presence in this rapidly evolving space Identify early opportunities with emerging social commerce platforms to position our brand partners as a leader in social-first shopping. What We’re Looking For 3–5 client management experience, preferably in social media, influencer marketing, or a related area A natural leader, someone who takes initiative, who is extremely detail-oriented, and who thinks big picture Solid understanding of TikTok and the entire social (commerce) ecosystem Passionate about social trends, influencer culture, and creator communities Data-literate with the ability to analyse and interpret campaign performance Experience working directly with influencers or content creators is a plus Confident using tools like TikTok Creator Marketplace, affiliate dashboards, and reporting tools.
