We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to partner with tier-one clients and the broader Podean team to develop and execute Amazon and marketplace strategies and unlock incremental brand growth.. Client servicing, strategy, program delivery, project management, and analysis will all be key functions in this role with the expectation that the account manager is well-versed in all aspects of eCommerce strategy including media, creative, and retail solutions. What You'll Do Partner with sophisticated tier 1 clients, including C-level contacts, to drive marketplace strategies and growth initiatives. This includes developing annual brand strategies, marketing and promotional planning, supply chain optimization, Amazon negotiations, resolving client escalations, and overseeing general Amazon business management and operations to ensure sustained growth and operational excellence. Build client trust by educating them on how to be successful in all aspects of Amazon and other marketplaces. Create a roadmap for new work streams and manage various projects with our internal teams to proactively develop the account. Develop best practices for successful marketing on Amazon and other marketplaces, providing onboarding and training sessions when needed both internally and to our clients. Play a key role in the growth and profitability of the agency's business, including supporting new business opportunities and identifying opportunities to upsell existing clients Contribute in a meaningful way to agency thought leadership and agency-wide trainings Work closely with agency team leads on process improvements, SOPs and proactive initiatives Understand client needs and consult with them from a holistic perspective to unlock the best possible results both on and off Amazon and other marketplaces Be the internal advocate for your client, understand/ monitor team progress on completion of tasks and communicate this with the client, regularly check their Amazon account, review reporting Work cross-functionally with sales, retail, media, and creative teams to drive revenue and increase client satisfaction Own all client meetings, presentations, and documents. Collaboratively create decks, own client call notes, and share recaps, action items, and priorities with clients. Lead communications and manage client expectations and priorities as needed. Ensure that we are building trust as a team with the client. Leverage Amazon’s data and your understanding of Podean’s customers to guide both new and existing clients via business reviews and frequent client sessions Lead the way in helping clients problem-solve challenges and issues they encounter. Stay up to date on all things Amazon and communicate Amazon updates, changes, and new opportunities with clients Once the Amazon foundations are in place, partner with clients to innovate both on and off Amazon. What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in digital media, eCommerce, or marketing, with a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, including advertising, retail, and expert-level knowledge of Amazon’s tools, mechanisms, and programs, as well as other leading eCommerce platforms. Proven leadership skills with a high sense of ownership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively. Strong client relationship management skills, excelling in aligning on business goals, creating strategic plans, and driving execution to exceed objectives. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization, from entry-level employees to C-suite executives, tailoring messaging to suit diverse audiences. Highly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent project management abilities and a proven ability to handle ambiguity while maintaining accountability. Commercially savvy, with a thorough understanding of marketers’ challenges and the ability to provide creative and data-driven strategic recommendations. Growth mindset with integrity, accountability, and the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools essential for client and team success.
