Job #2225 We are seeking a part-time Family Assistant to support the overall function of a private household by providing logistical, organizational, and lifestyle support to a busy family. The position combines elements of personal assistance, light household management, vendor coordination, cooking & basic food preparation, and transportation responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving home environment. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate household errands, returns, and local pickups/deliveries • Liaise with household vendors and service providers; oversee appointments and ongoing services • Assist with event coordination and occasional hands-on support during gatherings • Provide driving support for children’s school pickups and activity drop-offs using provided vehicle • Family meal preparation and basic cooking several days a week • Maintain a flexible schedule to cover household needs and occasional evening support • Maintain discreet, professional, and respectful personal boundaries • Must be proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with minimal supervision • Able to communicate clearly with household staff and external vendors • Must be team-oriented, collaborative, and able to adjust to the family’s evolving needs Requirements: • 3-5+ years of experience in a private household, family assistant, or personal assistant role • Relevant background in hospitality, culinary, household management, or related fields • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple vendors and shifting priorities • Familiarity with general budgeting, scheduling, and calendar coordination • Must be comfortable with regular cooking responsibilities and able to prepare simple family-style meals • Must have a clean driving record and be able to confidently drive children and run errands Salary: Hourly rate + paid time off.
