Full Description

Seeking a CTERA Remote File Services Engineer to support a cloud-based file services platform with both cloud and on-prem components. The role focuses on system support, troubleshooting, and operational stability. Responsibilities: • Support and maintain a cloud-hosted remote file services environment • Perform monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and backups • Support distributed edge/on-prem components and file access issues • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and synchronization problems • Coordinate with network and internal teams for issue resolution • Handle user support via ticketing systems • Maintain documentation and operational runbooks • Assist with cloud file storage migration planning and knowledge transfer Requirements: • 6+ years of experience with AWS or Azure • Hands-on experience with enterprise remote file services (cloud + edge) • Experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments • Strong troubleshooting and support skills • Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems • Cloud certification (AWS or Azure – foundational/associate level) Preferred: • Solutions Architect experience • Enterprise storage or file services background • Experience supporting distributed environments • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
