Position: Practice Assistant, Corporate / Litigation Salary: $91,000 - $105,000 (Non-exempt) Onsite Logistics: Hybrid Location: Chicago, IL The Practice Group Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to a fast-paced transactional team. This role involves managing attorney calendars, coordinating travel, expense reporting, time entry and document editing. The ideal candidate brings strong writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. IMPACT: • Document Editing: Edit miscellaneous provisions in agreements using Track Changes for attorney review with precision and attention to detail. • Technical Problem Solving: Address and resolve advanced administrative or technical challenges using sound judgment and prior experience. • Presentation Support: Create, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations for attorney meetings and external use. • Calendar Management: Implement scheduling priorities, coordinate meetings, and manage attorney calendars efficiently. • Relationship Management: Promote strong client relationships through timely communication and support. • Travel & Event Coordination: Arrange and confirm travel plans, meeting agendas, and logistics for internal and client-facing events. • Multitasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Successfully manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to shifting priorities as needed. Required • 3+ years in a legal administrative role or administrative experience with exposure to legal work, ideally in an AmLaw200 firm
