Manager, Early Career Talent San Mateo, CA or Remote, CA The Manager, Early Career Talent at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling early-career talent programs that support SIE’s mission to create world-class entertainment experiences. This role manages programs such as internships, graduate and early-in-career initiatives across creative, technical, and business functions, ensuring participants have meaningful, inclusive, and development-focused experiences that build SIE’s future talent pipeline. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about developing emerging talent within a fast-paced, global, and creative environment. Key Responsibilities: Program Strategy & Delivery Design, plan, and execute early-career programs (e.g., internships, graduate or early-career programs) across SIE Develop program structures, timelines, milestones, and success metrics aligned with business needs Manage program operations end-to-end, including onboarding, orientation, events, and offboarding Ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across regions, teams, and disciplines Talent Development & Participant Experience Create learning and development experiences that support both technical and professional growth Partner with managers and mentors to support participant performance, feedback, and career development Build community and engagement through events, workshops, and networking opportunities Act as a trusted point of contact for early-career participants, addressing questions and concerns Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with recruiting, HR, legal, finance, and business leaders to align hiring goals and program needs Support people managers with guidance and best practices for managing early-career talent Partner with Employer Branding and DEI teams to promote inclusive and equitable early-career programs Program Operations, Data & Continuous Improvement Track program outcomes such as engagement, satisfaction, conversion, and retention Prepare insights and reporting for leadership to demonstrate program impact and ROI Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to improve program effectiveness and scalability Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regional requirements Employer Brand & Outreach Represent SIE at campus and early-career recruiting events, information sessions, and internal showcases Support outreach initiatives that strengthen SIE’s early-career brand and diverse talent pipelines Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in program management, early-career programs, recruiting, HR, or talent development Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Experience managing multiple timelines and cross-functional partners Preferred Qualifications Experience managing internship or graduate programs in a global organization Familiarity with creative, technology, or entertainment industries Experience working with early-career talent across technical and non-technical roles Knowledge of employment regulations related to student and early-career programs Skills & Attributes Program and operational excellence Relationship building and influence without authority Data-driven mindset and attention to detail Empathy and passion for developing early-career talent Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment What Success Looks Like at SIE Early-career programs that reflect SIE’s culture, creativity, and commitment to excellence Strong participant engagement, satisfaction, and conversion outcomes Trusted partnerships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams A measurable, sustainable pipeline of diverse early-career talent contributing to SIE’s future Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
