Embroidery Machine Operator 📍 Waxahachie, Texas 🕐 Full-time | Hourly | On-site About the Role We are looking for a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join a growing apparel and textile production team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered garments and soft goods. This role requires strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and pride in producing work that meets professional quality standards. What You’ll Do • Interpret work orders to determine design type, thread colors, and placement • Load, hoop, and align garments or textiles accurately for embroidery • Select appropriate thread types, colors, and sizes, and run threading through machine guides • Adjust and control machine settings to ensure consistent stitch quality • Operate industrial-grade and multi-head embroidery machines • Monitor production for thread breaks, tension issues, and stitching errors • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency • Perform basic machine cleaning, threading, and maintenance • Repair incomplete or defective stitching when required • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace • Support production team with additional tasks as needed What You Bring ✔ High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship ✔ Ability to work independently as well as support a team environment ✔ Professional communication and reliability ✔ Self-motivation and strong work ethic Required Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years’ experience operating industrial embroidery machines • Ability to read production instructions and design specifications • Basic computer skills for embroidery software • Strong color perception and hand-eye coordination • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred (Not Required) • Experience with other apparel decoration processes (screen printing, vinyl, heat press, etc.) • Knowledge of digitizing or graphic design software Additional Requirements • Must pass standard pre-employment checks in line with company policy (background and drug screening) Apply here or send your resume, along with your current salary expectations, to Taurean@platform-recruitment.com
