At least 1 year hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry, ability to follow SOPs, and maintain accurate lab records.
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the analytical testing of cell therapy products to support development activities. The role requires hands-on laboratory work, including mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and PCR-based testing as well as data analysis. The Research Associate will work as part of a team under the guidance of Senior Project/Team Leads. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performing aseptic cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular assays - Testing development samples on a routine basis to support process/formulation activities - Documenting work and analyzing experimental results - Reporting results out to project lead accurately and on time - Support general lab maintenance including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 1 year of hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture - 1 year of hands-on experience with flow cytometry - Be able to follow established techniques/SOPs in aseptic cell culture, cell and molecular biology to generate and analyze data in an accurate and reproducible manner. - Capable of maintaining accurate records in electronic laboratory notebooks or paper forms/SOPs, appropriate databases, and inventories in a timely manner. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Cellular therapy laboratory experience - Experience in mRNA/DNA extraction and qRT-PCR/ddPCR - Experience with ELISA - Experience with pluripotent stem cells - Experience with Good Documentation Practices
