Engineer (Facilities / Project Support) — Holly Springs, NC (Onsite) Contract: 1 year+, W2 only (no C2C, no 1099, no visa sponsorship) Pay Target: $36–$37/hr Openings: 2 Location: Fully onsite, Holly Springs, NC Local candidates only — no relocation assistance provided About the Opportunity We are supporting a leading global biotechnology manufacturer with a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Holly Springs, and they are adding engineering support to help drive facilities and capital project work. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering or facilities career who wants to build experience in a cutting‑edge GMP manufacturing environment. You’ll work hands‑on with facilities systems, walkdowns, punch lists, and technical engineering support—no two days will look the same. What You’ll Do • Support the Senior Facilities Manager on ongoing and new facilities projects • Perform walkdowns and drive punch‑list creation and closure • Gather user requirements and develop technical documentation for third‑party engineering partners • Conduct field evaluations of facility systems and contribute engineering recommendations • Flex to daily site needs—supporting anything from maintenance operations to project execution • Communicate clearly, manage tasks independently, and follow through to completion Must‑Haves (Top 5) • Ability to work well under pressure and handle shifting priorities • Facilities experience (building systems, utilities, maintenance, or plant operations) • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and cross‑functional • Proactive, self‑starting mindset with strong ownership • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges Qualifications • Master’s degree, OR • Bachelor’s + 2 years experience, OR • Associate’s + 6 years, OR • High School/GED + 8 years • (Engineering, facilities, utilities, maintenance, or related disciplines preferred.) Nice-to-have experience: GMP/cGMP environments, commissioning, CMMS usage, URS/technical documentation, walkdown/punch‑list management.
