Full Description

This role is equal parts procurement guru, logistics wrangler, and design team collaborator. This role is onsite in Dallas and hourly rate is $18-20/hour either Part Time or Full Time. As the Design Procurement Specialist , you will: Support the design team as needed in obtaining pricing and product information, preparing schedules, and sourcing. Obtain quotes, create proposals and execute purchase orders Record all acknowledgments, lead times, and delivery dates. Track all shipments ensuring progress toward agreed lead time; handle damage claims; actively communicate with receiver and designer to flag any discrepancies or open items and resolve them. Synchronize all deliveries, inspections and other project logistics to ensure a smooth installation. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support efficient procurement and pricing. Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and payments to ensure data accuracy with accounting office. Keep detailed records for all purchases and project documentation Provide internal updates for team meetings and weekly client status reports Qualifications Previous experience in interior design procurement or project logistics Proficiency in Design Smart Software preferred or similar procurement software Proficiency in Quickbooks Detail-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to manage multiple timelines and keep priorities straight Professional and confident communicator - both written and verbal Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Positive energy, humor, and flexibility are musts Valid U.S. driver's license www.placementbydesign.com
