Description Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) for Home Health Therapy is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and performance management of multiple home health therapy agencies within an assigned region. This role ensures that patient care meets the highest standards of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while achieving financial and growth objectives. The RDO serves as a key liaison between corporate leadership, field operations, and third-party partners. • Oversee daily operations of multiple agencies providing PT, OT, and Speech Therapy services. • Develop and implement regional growth strategies to increase census and market share. • Monitor and manage agency budgets, expenses, and financial performance. • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure excellent patient outcomes. • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners. • Recruit, train, and mentor agency leaders and staff. • Analyze operational metrics and implement performance improvement plans. • Address and resolve escalated patient and family concerns. • Collaborate with corporate and clinical leadership to ensure best practices in care delivery • Hosts weekly Operations Calls and other focus companywide calls as needed. • Collects and reviews weekly reports for all business units. • Provides coaching, training, and counsel directed to achieving company-defined goals and objectives. • Reviews schedules to determine accuracy, proper coverage, and requirements for staff. • Involved in the hiring and termination of employees according to company protocol jointly with Human Resources. • Ensures business units are meeting budgeted expectations through a strong focus on clinical training and programming, staffing model implementation, and customer relationship management • Assures facility compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • Monitors patient, family, and community relations to minimize grievances and maintain strong productivity levels. • Ability to function as a Team Leader/Role Model • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations. • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned Qualifications • A current, valid Physical Therapist - PT,OT, (preferred) is required in the state of practice. • A BS/BA degree, or equivalent experience in therapy operations. • A comprehensive knowledge of home health and therapy operations is necessary with a minimum of four (4) years in a multi-facility position. • Demonstrated advanced leadership skills is required. • Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to Patients, Patients' family members, and Facility staff. • Represents the company’s best interests, contributes to corporate initiatives, and communicates the company directives in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional way that promotes company culture and understanding of PIVOT’s missions, vision, and values • Proficient at offering a variety of suggestions for how operational and clinical adjustments can affect revenue and expenses to meet budgeted goals • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Proven project management abilities • Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language. • Must be willing to travel.
