Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a passionate remote Collection Account Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for any results driven individual who is looking to WOW clients with their top-notch communication and positive client first attitude. The remote Collection Account Specialist is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction by assisting client needs through internal and external process partners to resolve transactions as assigned. As a remote Collection Account Specialist at Pitney Bowes, you will support high-value SendTech Clients to ensure that billing and collections activities are executed promptly with the highest level of accuracy. You will be responsible for handling sensitive financial data for our clients; therefore, a credit review is included in the background screening process. You are: A forward-thinking individual with a positive and professional client first attitude and drive for success, who is up for the challenge of new experiences daily. You are passionate about resolving client concerns that directly result in the resolution of delinquent balances. You are a professional who strives for innovation in a group setting as a team player who is willing to offer solutions and assistance. You will: Collect past due accounts within multiple lines of business. Correct billing errors within multiple lines of business while maintaining client account integrity in all applicable systems. Handle account cleansing including, but not limited to, payment application and reconciliation, purchase order and cost center updates, billing consolidations, invoice corrections, inventory updates, and price quote generation. Work with agents responsible for invoicing, account maintenance, collections, sales/support, and respond to any client inquiries/requests. Communicate with and maintain a good relationship with other business units to best assist our clients. Organize and maintain your day to ensure proper time parameters are met for all items and tasks. Your Background: 2+ years client service experience. Prior collections, account management, and/or billing reconciliation experience preferred. Proven time management skills. Excellent professional written and oral communication skills. Able to work independently and can prioritize and schedule daily activities while functioning in a team environment. Strong organizational skills (Microsoft Office Suite experience a plus). Strong interpersonal skills/ability to work with others. Attention to detail; excellent problem solving and analytical skills. This position handles sensitive financial data for our clients; therefore, a credit review is included in the background screening process. Compensation: This position will earn $18.00 hourly. Location: This is a remote US position. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
