IT PROJECT MANAGER/DATA ANALYTICS & BI REMOTE - EST ONLY ST. PETERSBURG, FL We are seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager with strong expertise in Data Analytics & Business Intelligence to lead a global analytics program from a project management standpoint. This is a strategic initiative within the healthcare and medical devices industry, with high visibility and impact. This role supports a high-priority global program focused on modernizing enterprise data platforms, enhancing analytics capabilities, and enabling data-driven decision-making across business functions. The program includes the implementation of scalable cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure), deployment of advanced BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and alignment with regulatory standards such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring successful delivery through Agile and hybrid methodologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ·Lead the planning and execution of a global analytics program, ensuring business continuity, platform modernization, and compliance with regulatory requirements. ·Scrum Leadership: Demonstrated experience facilitating all core Scrum ceremonies: oDaily Stand-ups: Drive team accountability and unblock progress. oSprint Planning: Collaborate with Product Owners to define sprint goals and prioritize backlog items. oSprint Reviews: Lead stakeholder-facing demos to showcase deliverables and gather feedback. oSprint Retrospectives: Facilitate continuous improvement through open team reflection. oBacklog Grooming/Refinement: Ensure backlog items are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development. ·Develop detailed project plans and implementation schedules, incorporating PMBOK® standards and stakeholder requirements. ·Manage change control processes and oversee overall project execution and risk mitigation. ·Serve as the escalation point for project risks and issues, applying structured problem-solving to resolve challenges. ·Oversee validation protocols and compliance deliverables in accordance with FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11. ·Collaborate with Data Governance leads, Quality Systems Managers, and analytics platform owners to ensure data integrity, compliance, and business alignment. ·Ensure seamless integration between analytics platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP/ERP,MES) ·Manage vendor relationships, enforcing SOW/T&M terms, negotiating boundaries, and resolving conflicts between system integrators. ·Lead steering committees, executive reporting, RAID log ownership, and cross-vendor governance. ·Drive organizational change management (training plans, communications, adoption metrics). ·Oversee budget, financial tracking, project sizing, and forecasting. ·Education & Experience oBachelor’s degree + 8 years, or Master’s degree + 6 years of related experience. o8+ years of experience leading IT projects of medium to large size in matrixed environments. oExtensive experience in regulated industries, with strong exposure to validation. ·Domain Experience oData Analytics & Business Intelligence: Proven experience leading projects involving data platforms, analytics tools, and visualization solutions (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake). oFamiliarity with data migration strategies (structured/unstructured data, metadata, integrations) oAdvanced Analytics & AI/ML: Exposure to projects involving predictive analytics, machine learning models, or AI-driven insights. oExperience in regulated industries, with a strong preference for exposure to medical validation projects. oExpertise in compliance frameworks like FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11. ·Skills & Competencies oVendor Management: proven experience with third-party vendors/SIs. oMigration & Upgrade Experience: SaaS/cloud transitions, system upgrades, data migration strategies. oCommunication & Governance: steering committees, executive reporting, RAID management. oChange & Adoption Management: OCM for upgrades. oBudget & Financial Tracking: cost sizing, forecasting, and financial control. ·Preferred Certifications oPMP (Project Management Professional) oCSM / Advanced ScrumMaster oExpertise in Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and DevOps methodologies ·Tools Proficiency oAzure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheets, MS Project, Power BI ·Soft Skills oHands-on attitude leadership style with an ability to influence and engage teams. oNot a project coordinator who "only" tracks progress and updates reports/deliverables.
