Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing office procedures, maintaining financial records, and supporting staff. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and providing support to various departments within the organization. Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments. • Conduct account analysis and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP standards. • Prepare and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. • Utilize accounting software such as Xero for bookkeeping tasks, including double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets as needed. • Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity. • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents. • Coordinate office supplies inventory and manage vendor relationships for procurement needs. Skills • Proficient in account analysis, general ledger accounting, and payroll management. • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and public accounting practices. • Experience with double entry bookkeeping techniques. • Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Xero or similar platforms. • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels. • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in work outputs.
