About the Role The Director of Sales will lead strategic sales initiatives and customer relationships for key automotive OEM accounts, with a primary focus on EV companies. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction while representing the company’s full portfolio of products and solutions. • Interview process to begin January 2026 - Application currently being accepted. Responsibilities Account Management & Customer Development • Serve as the primary commercial interface for EV customers owning long-term account strategy and customer satisfaction. • Develop and execute account plans that align internal capabilities with OEM program needs, sourcing events, and long-term platform strategies. • Build and maintain strong relationships within purchasing, engineering, program management, and quality teams at each OEM. • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and commercial issue resolution. Strategic Sales Leadership • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned OEM accounts, including new programs, model launches, and emerging technologies. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and OEM product roadmaps to anticipate future opportunities. • Partner with internal engineering, operations, and product teams to build winning proposals and differentiated value propositions. • Drive accurate forecasting, opportunity pipeline management, and reporting to senior leadership. Program & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Collaborate closely with program management and engineering teams during quoting, launch, and production phases. • Support the successful execution of new product introductions and ensure commercial alignment through the product lifecycle. • Address commercial and supply chain issues promptly to maintain strong OEM relationships and protect revenue. Leadership & Representation • Represent the company at customer meetings, technical reviews, sourcing events, industry conferences, and trade shows. • Mentor and develop junior sales team members as required. • Uphold the company’s reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in automotive or manufacturing industry. • Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading people. • Strong understanding of OEM purchasing processes, sourcing cycles, APQP, PPAP, and program launch dynamics. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a technical or engineered product environment. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of cut and sew products, standard processes, systems, and methodology. • Strong leadership skills along with proven capability to deliver results and build high performance teams. • Must have a strong operational and financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to lead engage across businesses internally and externally.
