Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up Double Reach forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, safety protocols, and material handling techniques. Candidates with experience in order picking, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management systems will excel in this position. The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workspace while adhering to OSHA standards. Responsibilities • Safely operate stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for loading and unloading materials • Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems • Load and unload shipments efficiently while ensuring proper handling of goods • Assist with inventory management and organize stock within the warehouse • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency • Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing items for shipment or storage • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies during daily operations • Assist with materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, order picking, and moving supplies throughout the facility Requirements • Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, crane operation, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction setting • Warehouse distribution or warehouse experience preferred; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus • Valid forklift certification and OSHA compliance knowledge required • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance is advantageous • Ability to operate RF scanners, warehouse management systems, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other related machinery • Strong understanding of safety procedures including OSHA regulations for material handling and equipment operation • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment • Excellent attention to detail for order picking accuracy and inventory control • Prior experience in shipping & receiving or materials handling roles is desirable This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and excellence in warehouse operations.
