PLEASE NOTE THAT EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY, THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT CANDIDATES BE LOCATED WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF THE NEW YORK CITY AREA TO PERIODICALLY COME IN TO THE OFFICE AS NEEDED. Our client is looking for an Senior RNG Engineer to lead engineering efforts across a growing portfolio of RNG production facilities. This role partners closely with internal Operations and Construction teams, as well as third-party engineering firms, to support new facility development and drive performance, reliability, and efficiency improvements at operating sites. This is an opportunity to join a team scaling its national RNG platform and contributing directly to the advancement of clean energy infrastructure. What You'll Be Doing: • Lead engineering support for new RNG facility development in collaboration with external engineering firms, technology providers, and equipment vendors. • Partner with Operations and Plant teams to improve safety, efficiency, and production performance at existing RNG facilities. • Support short- and long-term planning, budgeting, and coordination across the RNG asset portfolio. • Assist with the evaluation and execution of new RNG project opportunities. • Manage engineering contractors and consultants, working closely with Construction and Operations leadership to deliver projects from concept through completion. • Coordinate with strategic partners and third-party service providers. • Prepare reports and support special projects for senior leadership. • Collaborate with compliance teams to support data collection and timely regulatory reporting.
