Join the retail division of this 200+ person company that works with some of the biggest brands in the country. You'll support three project managers who are working on a variety of construction projects across electrical, mechanical, civil engineering work. What you'll do: • Oversee a team of 3 Project Managers, providing training, mentorship, and support to improve performance and consistency across projects. • Manage occasional construction projects directly, primarily small-scale generator installations, as needed. • Coordinate and communicate with clients and utility companies, ensuring smooth project execution and stakeholder alignment. • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry from field operations using digital tools and platforms. • Drive stakeholder engagement, using persuasive communication to navigate challenges and gain buy-in from difficult or resistant parties. • Maintain oversight of 20–30 concurrent retail construction projects, focusing on repeatable, low-complexity installations. Ideal Background • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in retail or repeatable build environments. • Engineering background strongly preferred (e.g., electrical engineer, project manager with engineering experience, or a general contractor who transitioned into project management). • Experience leading teams, with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior project managers. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage challenging stakeholders. • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including project documentation, field reporting, and data management systems. • Comfortable with fast-paced, multi-project environments, and able to prioritize effectively across a large portfolio.
