Please do not inquire.** • *This is a long-term contract position and they are not willing to look at candidates who need to relocate. ** IT Infrastructure Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of enterprise infrastructure initiatives. This role requires a well-rounded infrastructure generalist with broad exposure across multiple technology domains rather than deep subject matter expertise in any single area. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing projects involving cloud services, networking, end-user computing, telecommunications, and enterprise infrastructure while partnering closely with technical subject matter experts to drive successful project delivery. This individual should be highly organized, adaptable, and capable of quickly understanding unfamiliar technologies, stepping into projects already in progress, and coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects simultaneously across a variety of technology domains. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, and reporting using Smartsheet. • Coordinate project execution across infrastructure engineers, technical SMEs, vendors, and business stakeholders. • Lead projects involving Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, wireless networking, end-user computing, ISP and telecommunications provisioning, and other enterprise infrastructure technologies. • Serve as the central point of coordination between technical experts and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, communication, and project execution. • Quickly assess projects already in flight, identify priorities, and drive them to successful completion. • Facilitate meetings, manage risks and issues, track action items, and provide regular project status updates. • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on key deliverables and timelines. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience. • Experience using Smartsheet as a project management tool. • Broad exposure to enterprise infrastructure technologies, including: • Microsoft Azure • Microsoft 365 • Wireless networking • End-user computing • ISP and telecommunications services • Proven ability to manage projects across multiple technology areas without requiring deep technical specialization. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively alongside technical subject matter experts and quickly develop an understanding of unfamiliar technologies. • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Comfortable working with individual contributors, managers, IT leadership, and business stakeholders. While they may not be the technical expert in every area, they know how to ask the right questions, collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, quickly understand new concepts, and keep complex infrastructure projects moving forward.
