Regional Sales Manager – West Coast Location: West Coast of the U.S. Full-Time | Travel Required (50% Minimum) About the Role: We're seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of Piller's capital equipment products across the West Coast. This role is perfect for a dynamic sales professional who excels in building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering solutions to customers. Your ultimate goal will be to meet and exceed annual sales targets while establishing lasting partnerships in a competitive market. What You’ll Do: • Sales Growth: Develop and maintain sales for capital equipment in your territory, both from new and existing accounts. • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand Piller’s presence in your region. • Customer Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships with end users, consultants, contractors, and specifiers. • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to devise strategies for market growth. • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular activity reports and sales forecasts to leadership. • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Develop and present tailored sales proposals to customers. • Market Insights: Offer regular feedback on market trends, competitors, and customer needs. • Travel: Expect 50%+ travel within the territory to meet with clients, prospects, and attend industry events. Who You Are: • Experienced Sales Professional: 3+ years of proven success in selling capital equipment, preferably in the electrical, industrial, or tech sectors. • Driven & Self-Motivated: You take initiative, thrive on challenges, and are goal-oriented. • Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers at all levels. • Commercially Savvy: Comfortable negotiating contracts and closing deals, with a good understanding of business strategy. • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with basic computer tools and software, and familiar with sales and CRM platforms. • A Team Player: While independent, you're also a collaborative member of the sales team. • Degree Preferred: A technical degree is ideal, but experience and results will also be considered.
