This position works in a hybrid telework schedule with an expectation of being in the office if needed. It may include occasional field visits. Travel to various work sites, businesses, and/or meeting locations is required. You will be working on projects that address the needs of individuals or small groups, all the way up to the enterprise level. Projects you may support as a CSBA1: • Supporting the Sewer Billing (IPS) system enhancement project by working in partnership with the Sewer Billing Team to identify challenges and suggested solutions. • Identify, implement, and support various workflow improvement projects across PPW with application development, including Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, GIS, and other low-code software applications. • Development and support of AI technology within the PPW Department, including training, support, and recommendations for future AI projects. Someone who knows how to develop working relationships and communicate across all levels of the organization. We need you to jump in and support current projects while learning about the department and identifying new opportunities. Business Analysts who are motivated to improve process efficiencies, can manage customers and expectations, make strong recommendations, and then implement those recommendations will be successful in this role. Core Daily Responsibilities: • Gather department requirements for new or enhanced application software features. • Coordinate project timelines. • Test changes and enhancements to software application systems (including creating documents and test scripts, manually updating document status and tables, and testing functionality). • Create, maintain, and run queries for reports and statistical analysis. • Act as a liaison between the department and Information Technology (which may include 3rd party vendors) to ensure the assigned department’s project needs are being communicated effectively and are on schedule. • Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance during regularly scheduled work hours at the assigned worksite.
