We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant part-time Armed Security Officer to join our team at a Church in Lake Wylie , SC. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in protecting high-value assets while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for church staff and members. Position Overview As an Armed Security Officer, you will be stationed on-site at the church, serving as a visible deterrent to crime and a reassuring presence for staff and patrons. Your responsibilities will include monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and enforcing security protocols to ensure a secure environment. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, sound judgment, and a commitment to professionalism at all times. Pay: • Starting at $21.00 Schedule- Sunday-7am-12:30pm Responsibilities • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises. • Respond to incidents and manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Collaborate with law enforcement when required and maintain accurate incident reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with leadership and professionalism. Requirements and Qualifications: • Must be 21 years or older • Experience with a handgun is preferred • Must be able to pass a drug screening • Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history • Must possess a smartphone with an active cellular data plan • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Must be able to work independently • Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time Closing and Application Instructions: Piedmont Protective Services is proud to welcome all prior or current military and police.
