Position Overview As an IT Support Technician at Photavia, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations of our digital systems and providing technical support to employees and clients. You will handle troubleshooting, software/hardware maintenance, and system monitoring while contributing to the company’s technology improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support via chat, email, and remote access tools. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Monitor system performance and ensure IT security best practices. Support video and image processing tools used by Photavia’s creative team. Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and update logs. Collaborate with the IT Manager and other departments on system upgrades or integrations. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical helpdesk, or similar role. Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments. Familiarity with cloud-based systems (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, etc.). Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, routers, firewalls). Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setup. Preferred Skills Experience with digital media software or creative technology tools. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles. Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
