Role Overview: As a CNC Applications Engineer on the Phillips Hybrid team, you will be instrumental in advancing our manufacturing capabilities by developing and optimizing CNC applications that blend additive and subtractive methods. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and the evolution of our hybrid manufacturing solutions. What You'll Do: - You will develop and optimize CNC programs for hybrid manufacturing processes. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate additive and subtractive technologies. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC applications. - You will provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency. - You will assist in the development of new hybrid manufacturing techniques and tools. - You will document processes and maintain detailed records of application developments. - You will stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC programming and applications engineering. - Strong knowledge of additive and subtractive manufacturing processes. - Proficiency with CNC programming languages such as G-code and CAM software. - Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and customer interaction. - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with hybrid manufacturing systems combining additive and subtractive methods. - Familiarity with advanced manufacturing software and simulation tools. - Prior experience in a customer-facing technical support role. - Certifications related to CNC programming or manufacturing technologies.
