As a Remote Service Engineer, you will provide telephone and remote technical support to healthcare customers for MR products. You will resolve customer service events and implement best practices while diagnosing problems and applying effective solutions.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a field service environment, and be trained in Philips products. A high school diploma or a bachelor's degree in engineering, medical, or science-related fields is preferred.
Job Title Remote Service Engineer - MRI (Remote-Based, USA) Job Description As a Remote Service Engineer (RSE) you will combine your technical, networking, and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers with MR products. Your role: Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to external customers Resolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as needed Timely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level support Utilization of appropriate remote tools to resolve issues and thus avoid dispatching of service call to Field Service Engineer Implementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, applying effective solutions and determining follow up actions You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a field service environment, and have been trained in Philps products. Your skills include experience with Philips MRI equipment, Knowledge of computers and networking; PC competency to include utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products. Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment. You have a High School graduate degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering, medical or science related, preferred You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. Philips Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position in (AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV) is 37.00 to 59.00 plus overtime eligible and 1st/2nd shift pay differential. The hourly pay range for this position in (AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY) is $39.00 to $62.00. plus overtime eligible and 1st/2nd shift pay differential. The hourly pay range for this position in (AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA) is 41.00 to 65.00 plus overtime eligible and 1st/2nd shift pay differential. The hourly pay range for this position in (CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ) is $44.00 to $70.00 plus overtime eligible and 1st/2nd shift pay differential. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
