Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative school environment. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to individualized instruction, inclusion, and student growth—academically, socially, and emotionally. Position Overview The Special Education Teacher will provide specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards. The role may support students in a resource, inclusion, or self-contained setting, depending on school needs and teacher experience. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Provide differentiated instruction tailored to students with disabilities • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress toward IEP goals • Maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs • Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field • Valid state Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) • Experience working with students with disabilities preferred • Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, and modifications • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills What We’re Looking For • A student-centered educator with a passion for inclusive education • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Patience, flexibility, and strong advocacy skills for students What’s Offered • Competitive compensation • Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options • Supportive administration and collaborative school culture • Professional development and growth opportunities
