THE ROLE As a Senior Director of Business Development, you serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving high-impact growth initiatives across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscape in the United States. This role is pivotal in expanding the company’s market presence, accelerating revenue, and building long-term, value-driven partnerships with top-tier biopharma clients. Responsibilities: Employees may be required to perform some or all of the following: • Identify, prospect, and cultivate new strategic partnerships with key decision-makers (e.g., Heads of Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Data Management, R&D) within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for top-tier strategic accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and deepening our service offerings across various clinical phases • Represent Phastar at relevant industry networking events and conferences • Negotiate and close complex, multi-year master service agreements (MSAs) and project-based contracts, ensuring alignment with client needs and company profitability targets Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline • Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field highly preferred • Individual ideally located on the East Coast in the US • 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic alliances, or enterprise sales within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry, specifically targeting pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients • Deep and demonstrable understanding of biometrics services (biostatistics, clinical data management, statistical programming, PK/PD analysis, medical writing) and their critical role in drug development APPLY NOW With the world’s eyes focused on clinical trial data, this is a fantastic time to join an award-winning specialized biometric CRO that is renowned for its technical expertise, outstanding quality and cutting-edge data science techniques.
