Pharvaris is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel, oral bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists to potentially address all types of bradykinin-mediated angioedema. By targeting this clinically proven therapeutic target with novel, oral small molecules, the Pharvaris team is advancing new alternatives to injected therapies for the prevention and treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks, and other bradykinin B2-receptor-mediated indications. HAE is a rare and potentially life-threatening genetic disease and people living with HAE can suffer sudden and prolonged attacks of swelling in multiple areas of the body, including the airway, which can be life-threatening. We are expanding our U.S. Commercial team and are looking for a U.S. Portfolio Marketing Lead, to join our team and report to our VP, Head of Sales & Marketing. Whilst this is a remote/hybrid role, you need to be in U.S. and preferably in Greater Boston Area. Responsibilities • Portfolio Strategy Leadership: Build and lead the portfolio marketing function across Pharvaris’ late-stage and future pipeline assets, aligning strategic priorities across HCP, patient, and payer marketing. • Customer-Centric Planning: Develop and execute the customer strategy across the treatment journey, defining audience segments, insights, and activation plans that support brand objectives. • Team Leadership: Build and lead a growing portfolio marketing team from scratch, fostering a culture of performance, curiosity, and collaboration. • Strategic Commercial Contribution: Partner with the Commercial Leadership Team to shape short- and long-term strategies that drive launch excellence and market leadership. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Represent the voice of the customer across all commercial and clinical development stages. Work in close partnership with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance to ensure aligned and compliant execution. • Insight Generation: Lead market research and insight development efforts that inform positioning, messaging, branding, and customer activation strategies. • Launch Planning & Execution: Drive brand readiness and customer engagement strategies for Pharvaris’ first product launch and help establish frameworks for future assets. • Brand Evolution: Shape the evolution of Pharvaris’ brand identity, values, and visual expression in a way that inspires internal and external stakeholders. • Agency & Vendor Management: Oversee and optimize the performance of external agency partners and marketing vendors. • Budget Management: Manage the annual portfolio marketing budget and optimize resource allocation across programs and priorities. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in biotech/pharma/agency, including at least 5 years in marketing leadership roles. • Proven track record in launch planning and execution—ideally in rare disease, immunology, or specialty categories. • At least 3 years of experience building and leading high-performance marketing teams. • Deep experience applying insight generation and customer segmentation to drive successful brand strategies. • Experience leading matrixed initiatives across functions such as Medical, Market Access, Legal, and Sales. • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence across all levels of the organization. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
