OHC Pharmacy, a trusted community pharmacy and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider in Houston, TX, is seeking a reliable and motivated Front Office / Administrative Assistant. This position starts as part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time once reliability, performance, and ability have been demonstrated. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and is eager to grow within the pharmacy and DME industry. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the first point of contact: answer phones, greet patients, and provide front-desk support • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, organizing records, and processing incoming/outgoing mail • Assist with prescription intake and DME orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Support the pharmacy team with daily operational needs and patient communication • Conduct outbound calls for patient follow-ups and occasional sales-related activities • Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment • Adapt to other general administrative or support tasks as needed Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (recent graduates welcome) • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills • Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment • Comfortable using technology (basic computer programs, phone systems, and online tools) • Dependable, professional, and eager to learn new skills • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required Compensation & Growth • Pay: $12–$15 per hour, depending on experience • Part-time role with potential to transition to full-time • Opportunity for advancement within the pharmacy and DME field We are conducting on-the-spot interviews this week!
