Description FULL STACK DEVELOPER Reports to: Vice President, Technology FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY This individual will support a variety of technologies and must be able to contribute in multiple areas of the department. This position will create, modify, and maintain all software systems utilized by the company, and will support, generate queries for, and otherwise maintain SQL Server databases. This Full Stack Developer demonstrates a high level of expertise and professionalism, applies modern development practices and AI tools—we are a Claude Code shop—to deliver quality software efficiently, and serves as a mentor to their peers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain highly scalable software systems using .NET (ASP.NET Core / .NET 8+, preferably C#) Maintain internal and external-facing web applications Use Claude Code assisted development to accelerate delivery and improve code quality, and help evaluate where AI capabilities can enhance company applications Design, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations to transport data between systems Make regular modifications to existing software for error correction and to improve overall function and performance Create database objects, write queries, and perform other functions using SQL Server Create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI Collaborate with users, other developers, and subject matter experts to gather information and requirements; determine feasibility, limitations, and capabilities; and design user interfaces Use version control and participate in code review to maintain a healthy, collaborative codebase Perform all other duties as assigned. Experience 2 years minimum of .NET experience (ASP.NET Core, preferably C#) (required) 2 years minimum of JavaScript experience, including familiarity with a modern framework (React, Angular, Vue, or Blazor) and TypeScript (required) 2 years minimum of HTML and CSS experience (required) Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (required) Experience with version control (e.g., Git) (required) Deeper hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, and related services) (preferred) Specialized Knowledge Familiarity with cloud services, Azure preferred (required) Working familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and interest in applying AI/LLM capabilities to business problems (required) Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required) Great problem-solving skills (required) Attention to detail (required) Ability to work independently (required) Strong customer service orientation (preferred) Professional mindset along with adherence to our Core Values (preferred) Ability to quickly process information and make decisions (preferred) Excellent time-management with the ability to meet tight deadlines (preferred) WORKING CONDITIONS Work is typically performed in normal office conditions. Position requires occasional overnight travel. This position is eligible to work primarily remotely following the initial onboarding period. During onboarding, more frequent in-office presence is necessary to support training and integration.
