The Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Value & Evidence (HV&E) team is responsible for ensuring patients have affordable, timely access to medicines and vaccines by advancing innovative value and evidence solutions to inform healthcare decision-making. The HTA Value & Evidence (HV&E) Sr. Director role directly impacts the ability to achieve business objectives on a global basis by providing strategic guidance and robust evidence development relevant to defend the value proposition of CDK4 and in support of Pfizer’s Breast Cancer franchise. The Senior Director will act as CDK4 Asset Lead to deliver a robust integrated strategy and faster decision cycles with a coordinated approach across the CDK4 program. The Sr. Director will be responsible for providing the direction and leadership for a coordinated evidence strategy across indications, ensuring alignment with HV&E indication leads and cross-functional team. The Sr. Director will drive lifecycle and launch planning, risk management, and scenario planning; and will be responsible for escalating unresolved issues to proper governance (e.g. breast cancer franchise team) The Sr. Director will work closely with the countries to support their evidence needs for HTA submissions and price negotiations. ForCDK4, the Sr. Director will be responsible for developing launch deliverables to key internal and external stakeholders. This role will be predominantly focused on supporting the Global business. In addition to CDK4, as the core responsibility, the Sr. Director will also have accountability for supporting and driving access evidence of Pfizer’s Breast Cancer franchise, in partnership with the HV&E Team Lead. The HV&E Sr. Director will function with a one-GAV mindset, promoting behaviors that exemplify Pfizer’s values (Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy). This position will require working in a closely aligned fashion with various cross-functional team members (global access strategy, medical, US HV&E, medical evidence generation, and commercial) to ensure there is a single and coordinated view on strategy and evidence delivery to support CDK4. This position reports to the Sr. Director- Breast Cancer Team Lead. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy to support the value of CDK4 and the Breast Cancer franchise in close partnership with the cross-functional matrix team Lead the design and execution of Global HEOR studies and projects (including non-interventional studies, registries, burden of illness studies, economic models, epidemiologic studies etc.) Incorporate humanistic and economic endpoints into clinical trials across all phases of product development to build comprehensive trial-based evidence in line with overall medical strategy for the assets and to ensure global reimbursement and access requirements Provide strategic input in the selection of relevant patient population and comparators within clinical trials to enable successful negotiations, reimbursement, and appropriate patient access with global payer and regulatory decision makers Lead the timely development of launch and post launch deliverables including global value dossiers, access evidence plans, value and evidence strategies, economic models, and innovative tools to successfully support global launches Partner with the countries to understand their evidence needs and lead the coordination of input from local country/regional teams on global evidence generation to ensure that the input is appropriately incorporated into key HTA deliverables (economic models, global dossiers, RWE) Communicateand educate internal and external stakeholders on CDK4 RWE, develop RWE narratives and provide advice on how to utilize RWE/RWD Develop strategic partnerships and research collaborations with key external experts, healthcare policy makers, payers, and various academic and community settings to support asset strategies Provide strategic guidance and content guidance in reimbursement (re)negotiations for CDK4 Lead the development of appropriate data dissemination plans and communicate evidence generated via publications and conference presentations Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g. medical, access strategy, payer marketing) to ensure appropriate customer facing dissemination of HEOR materials per FDA guidance and internal SOPs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. Master’s degree in public health, health economics or allied discipline with 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, HEOR consulting, HEOR academic roles, or related industry; 7+ years with Doctorate (PharmD. PhD, DrPH) Deep expertise in HEOR technical knowledge, policy impact, and extensive experience in planning and executing on HEOR strategy/alignment (RWE, PROs and economic modelling) High-level leadership, ability to develop and drive TA, Product, organizational strategy, and mentor future leaders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects involving complex processes, significant budget, competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities Wide professional networks and established track record of working with external KOLs Ability to influence key members of scientific and commercial teams, constructively and strategically, with minimal conflicts Excellent oral and written English communication skills Strong collaborator and team-player Demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in Breast Cancer is highly preferred along with knowledge of dynamic environment and competitive landscape Experience with recent policy regulations (e.g. EU HTA Regulation) Expertise in technical and methodological aspects of RWE such as retrospective and prospective observational study design and implementation in US and other countries (real world evidence) In depth understanding of HEOR methods, including advanced modelling techniques, health-related quality of life, other PRO measures and macroeconomics Experience in external stakeholder engagements and HTA submissions as well as managing country/regional matrix partners NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Travel may be required within the US and internationally Ability to work in all US time zones Tight deadlines and shifting priorities are characteristic of this role Other Job Details: Last Date to Apply for Job: March 4th, 2026 Additional Location Information: New York, NY; Collegeville, PA; Cambridge, MA; Bothell, WA Eligible for Relocation Package: No #LI-PFE The annual base salary for this position ranges from $214,900.00 to $341,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
