WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU The I&I HITS-AD Secondee will collaborate to advance the I&I strategic HIT approach and strengthen customer engagement with leading health systems. HITS-ADs provide strategic guidance on leveraging e-platforms to transition care from a reactive, episodic model to a predictive and proactive approach for managing chronic conditions across the care continuum. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE Clinical decision support aligned with evidence-based guidelines (e.g., alerts, hard edits, screeners, and order sets). Standing and protocol orders to streamline care delivery. Patient outreach and education through portals and automated reminders. Bi-directional data sharing to enable seamless information exchange. Measurement and reporting tools for tracking outcomes and performance. HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT Collaborate with leading health systems to educate stakeholders on EHR capabilities that enhance diagnosis, treatment, and patient management within Dermatology and Gastroenterology, in alignment with I&I Key Account Management priorities. Drive awareness of workflow optimization by helping customers recognize the value of leveraging EHR technologies to support population health management in these therapeutic areas. Partner with cross-functional Pfizer teams to define Health IT strategy, oversee resource development, and manage RC approval processes. Provide technical expertise to the broader Pfizer Key Account Management community, ensuring understanding of Health IT strategies, effective use of resources, and alignment of Pfizer’s needs with customer requirements and evolving Health IT market trends. Maintain flexibility for travel, up to 35%. Must-Have Education: BA/BS in Health IT or Informatics-related field with 8+ years of experience. Experience: Proven expertise in the functional and technical application of health information technology. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Health IT landscape, including relationships among key stakeholders such as vendors and third-party data sources. Awareness of the impact of healthcare reform initiatives on the broader healthcare environment, including Leading Health Systems, Pharma, and Payers. Skills: Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to manage diverse priorities, meet deadlines, and evaluate outcomes effectively. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. Leadership: Demonstrated breadth of leadership experience and capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate across teams, coach and develop others, and guide work toward achieving meaningful outcomes and creating business impact. Nice-to-Have MBA/MS with 7+ years of experience; OR PhD or JD with 5+ years of experience. Experience in Dermatology and/or Gastroenterology strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with leading EHR platforms such as Epic, ModMed EMA, ModMed gGastro, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner Oracle, and similar systems. Ability to travel conveniently; ideal candidate should have easy access to a major airport. Important Information A secondment is a temporary short-term assignment; all secondments are handled as lateral moves with no change in compensation, level or grade. Local guidelines will be followed for those colleagues sitting outside of the US. It is the expectation that the home group will continue to financially support the headcount for the assignment.
