Full Description

The Program Manager, Community Engagement, is a customer-facing, field-based role, that will lead the development and implementation of the US Hemophilia patient educational programs, which includes patient advocacy group (PAG) event sponsorships and non-PAG community programs. These programs include disease-state and product-specific education at the national and local level. Supporting PAG/non-PAG community engagement strategy, planning for patient advisory boards, managing promotional resources and assessing program outcomes are in scope. The annual US Hemophilia Patient Engagement platform output represents 100+ field events. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the process for reviewing, funding, and execution of non-PAG community events, PAG sponsorships and special projects, which include: Submitting and tracking brand education and sponsorship requests Coordinating with field-based colleagues to manage process and event coverage Interfacing with PAGs and other community partners to secure necessary documentation and manage logistics Developing and managing key patient group relationships related to field events Create and manage development of educational events materials and resources, which include: Developing and executing all PAG and non-PAG event materials, including booth designs, posters, drivers, leave-behinds, activities, through design, RC review, and creation, all of which is to be achieved through compliant coordination with Marketing Identify and develop new platforms, based on assessment of existing program outcomes, which could include innovative/digital engagement, communication, and new marketing tools for use by Patient Navigators Responsible for training Patient Engagement team members (at hire and team workshops), which include: Ensuring legal & compliance guidelines are communicated, understood and adhered to SOP Coaching of Community Engagement Leads Mitigating risk of new educational platform and executional efforts Multi-channel educational platform management, which includes: Establishing goals and KPIs Serving as key partner to Digital in the development, execution and maintenance of Patient Engagement’s webinar host platform Managing digital events promotional materials Assessing outcomes through performance analytics Lead cross-functional communications on patient educational programming (Medical, CFCs, Marketing, Digital, and Legal & Compliance) Responsible for budget management of external funding, programming and resource management Special projects lead, which includes: Scholarship program SDOH Initiatives Access to care programs National Congresses Basic Qualifications Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience. Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical industry or related experience-preferably in Rare Disease Experience demonstrating exceptional communication, listening and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures. Proven track record of collaborating broadly with a diverse range of customers, clients and stakeholders Experience in responsible business practices and compassionate communication both written and spoken Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired. Knowledge & Skill Sets Desired Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to represent presentations to internal stakeholders Exceptional relationship building skills with a range of stakeholders relative to the therapeutic area (PAGs, patients and caregivers and other community partners) Strong attention to detail, organizational and business skills Outstanding collaboration and networking abilities with PAGs Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Knowledge of the Rare Disease community Knowledge of Concur, budget tracking and an understanding of Sponsorship processes. Adherence to regulatory and compliance standards Ability to travel- approximately 50% Other Job Details Last Date to Apply: September 30, 2025 During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee which entitles you to overtime pay. Upon your training certification, you will become an overtime exempt employee. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,900.00 to $171,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
