Responsibilities: Maintains an awareness of and is actively involved in the performance of stores within the region to identify and address potential areas of operational improvement and works with the manager on strategies to enhance dealer performance, implement market strategies, and improve sales and profit in the community. Coaches and provides input to managers on strategies for professional development both for the GOM themselves as well as teammates within their stores. Oversees major training initiatives within the region and provides timely feedback to the Director of IFB Regional Operations and HR Business Partner regarding training needs in the community. Works with Director of IFB Regional Operations and marketing team to implement marketing strategies and initiatives within the region. Leads the implementation of corporate initiatives and identifies opportunities and organizes GOM in the community to execute those opportunities. Builds relationships with community organizations and community leaders and facilitates these relationships with the GOM in the community. Provides feedback to the Director of IFB Regional Operations on the performance of leadership development potential of GOM within the region. Manages and attains store sales, gross profit, expense, income, and payroll budgets. Manages and attains inventory budgets, to include selecting and ordering new, promotional, and permanent merchandise; keeping dealers in stock, and liquidating overstocked, slow-moving, and/or old merchandise. Recommends, implements, and enforces Company policies and procedures designed to identify and minimize profit loss. Supports Company EEO and other employment policies in all management practices and maintains a professional harassment-free work environment for all employees. Ensures that teammates provide exceptional customer service levels, and are courteous, friendly, and efficient. Implements competitive pricing programs/price structure category; and sales, promotional, and advertising programs for the dealerships. Ensures returned/damaged goods program is kept current. Facilitates the implementation of new technology and maintains a working knowledge of new systems and software that affect the dealer’s performance. Improves and maintains store condition, maintenance, an appearance for the safety, health and well-being of customers and teammates, and ensures adherence to applicable government regulations and laws. Enforces Company policies and procedures. Informs appropriate teammates of store plans, programs, and operations that affect their areas, and encourages feedback from all employees to increase productivity. Provides feedback regarding dealer operations to Director of IFB Regional Operations to facilitate active involvement in the success of the company. Maintains proper hiring and placement, scheduling of work, assignment of responsibility, and delegation of authority. Develops teammates through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of rules, and constructive discipline, while building employee morale, motivation, and loyalty. Identifies and develops teammates abilities in preparation for promotional opportunities and to meet the changing needs of the Company. Audits own performance and recommends own objectives and standards of performance. Maintains consistency through regular visits to region locations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is preferred 5-8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing Strong leadership and financial planning skills Results oriented with a strong sense of ownership Solid strategic thinker who can motivate a team to execute a plan Results oriented with a strong sense of ownership A high level of professionalism. Coaching / Mentoring skills Ability to solve problems and perform well under pressure and time constraints. Ability to read, write, and speak English and to be able to effectively communicate sales or training requirements with customer’s in an accurate manner. Problem analysis and problem solving Delegating tasks and responsibility Must have a valid driver’s license. Technical abilities necessary to use cellular phones (all electronic devices) for training services and recording notes. Accountabilities: Following Invisible Fence® Brand and PSB company policies, procedures, training manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, schedule forms, instructions and sales/service contracts.
