Pet Paradise is looking for individuals with a passion for pets to organize and manage daytime play groups at our Las Colinas resort location. Starting Rate: $13.00/hour ($0.50 increase 6 months from hire date, additional $0.50 increase on annual anniversary date) PERKS AND BENEFITS: Opportunity for ADVANCEMENT! (We are currently expanding this service across many of our locations) Complimentary Pet Day Camp – Bring your dog with you to work! 30 Days of Complimentary Pet Boarding (non-holidays) On-demand pay with DailyPay Discounted Veterinary Care and Grooming Services (per location) Dog/Cat Adoption Assistance Fitness Reimbursement Paid Time Off (both full-time and part-time status) 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (full-time status) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with added mental health benefit, available to all employees ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR PLAYTIME COORDINATOR INCLUDE: Interacting with and monitoring dogs in play areas (play-yard and pool); using appropriate toys and tools to ensure a safe level of play Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among all dogs in playgroup Minimizing stress levels of all dogs in the playgroup and handling aggressive or unusual behaviors Controlling levels of play by following procedures and instructions provided by management and utilizing proper dog handling techniques Assisting the team with cleaning and play-yard maintenance duties QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A PLAYTIME COORDINATOR: Excellent customer service and organizational skills True passion for working with animals Ability to work in all-weather conditions (heat and humidity); will be exposed to pool water Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing and grasping Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK HERE WE ARE PET PEOPLE!
