About Pet Media Group: Pet Media Group (PMG) is a Stockholm-based scale-up that acquires, launches and develops market-leading pet marketplaces globally, with over 1.5 million animals finding new homes through our platforms every year. We are currently live in 6 different countries (US, UK, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy and Spain) and are now scaling our US marketplace. The way pets find new loving homes has remained largely unchanged for centuries. PMG’s mission is to make this process more trusted, safe and efficient through technology. About the Role: As the Growth & Partner Success Manager you will play a pivotal role in expanding and optimizing breeder engagement within our marketplace. You will develop high-impact strategies to improve breeder retention, streamline customer success operations, and drive community engagement. The ideal candidate will not only foster strong breeder relationships but also develop and refine outreach strategies, marketing initiatives, and community engagement efforts. This is a hands-on role with strategic ownership. We are looking for someone who is interested in rolling up their sleeves to ideate, execute and iterate - with a focus on being able to adapt quickly to changing environments and work collaboratively. You will design outreach and marketing campaigns, manage and mentor a customer specialist team, and iterate based on data-driven insights to maximize growth and retention. Proven experience in customer engagement, grass-roots marketing/partnerships, or community management within a marketplace or startup. Strong team leadership and operational expertise, including experiencing supporting a customer support or customer success team. Ability to develop and refine talk tracks, training materials, and outreach strategies to improve team performance. Proficiency with Customer.io (or similar email marketing/CRM tools) to create and manage marketing campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with direct phone outreach and relationship-building. Data-driven mindset—able to analyze engagement metrics and optimize strategies based on insights Key Functions of this role: Breeder Relationship Management Identify, engage, and maintain breeder partnerships through strategic outreach. Develop communication strategies and best practices to improve breeder satisfaction Lifecycle Marketing & Campaigns Build and manage Customer.io campaigns to enhance engagement and retention for our breeder community Analyze and optimize marketing strategies to increase breeder participation. Community Engagement Manage and grow online communities to strengthen brand presence. Develop initiatives that foster breeder trust and engagement. Customer Success Team Leadership Opportunity to train, and mentor a team of Customer Success Specialists for optimal breeder interactions. Develop talk tracks and outreach strategies to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Direct Communication & Relationship Building Engage breeders through direct phone conversations to build trust and resolve concerns. Serve as a key escalation point and implement proactive outreach strategies Extra Treats For: Experience in a marketplace business or early-stage start-up Background in sales, customer success, or business development Understand flexible, early-stage start-up experiences Requirements: This role has EST working hours
