Product Owner Overview: Constellation1, a division of Perseus (an operating group of Constellation Software Inc.) is the leading provider of truly integrated technology, media and data solutions to real estate franchisors, brokerages, agents and MLS organizations and associations. The Position: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to aid execution in our technology team. This role is critical in ensuring the successful development and support for our portfolio of products supported by our agile development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and technology within a SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Support the planning, execution, and delivery of product changes and professional service agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Professional Services: Work directly with customers, performing business analysis and project management tasks to inform the development pipeline and track/manage professional services engagements (projects/PSAs). Roadmap: Analyze feature adoption/usage data, competitive products, features and market trends to make recommendations regarding product features and enhancements to ensure ongoing viability of products and emerging usability and technology trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, technology operations, and customer experience, to ensure strong execution, delivery, and change management. Data-Driven Decision Making: Identify customer pain points, goals, and asks; translate their aspirations into product ideas, prioritizing product ideas based on scoring metric such as RICE, user engagement and other business metrics. Priority Management: Set and communicate priorities clearly in product backlogs to the agile team and stakeholders, adjusting as necessary based on changing business needs. Agile Leadership: Support agile development teams in sprint activities and product backlog refinement. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with execution and operations. Go-to-Market: Manage the release and go-to-market activities for product enhancements and client projects, tracking timelines and expected deliveries, communicating with stakeholders from start to finish. Sales Enablement: Provide support to Account Management, Sales and Marketing, with up-to-date documentation, assets and demos. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role within agile SaaS environment. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects. Strong collaboration and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze problems and execute tactically. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. FLSA Designation (US Only): Exempt Salary Range (US Only): The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors. Other Compensation (US Only): This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire. Benefits (US Only): Full time employees will also be eligible for enrollment in a wide range of choices of benefits , including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, short/long term disability, 401(k) participation (with company match). Time off (US Only): The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
