Job TitleProject Controls, Engineer/Senior Engineer Location(s) Columbus, OH, Customer Site - IL, Customer Site - IN, Customer Site - MO, Customer Site - OH, Indianapolis, IN, US Remote - IL, US Remote - IN, US Remote - MO, US Remote - OH Job Description *This is a role with Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company Project Controls Engineers (PE) and Senior Project Controls Engineers (Senior PE) are fully billable roles that will work collaboratively with clients, vendors, contractors, and other Team Members to support projects related to biomanufacturing across the entire engineering lifecycle. PEs and Senior PEs are responsible for delivering high quality work, forming and maintaining valuable, long-term relationships with our clients, and continually strengthening their technical and industry knowledge. They will maintain a strong focus on Project Farma’s Patient Focused and People First mindset. As a Project Controls Engineer, you will work collaboratively with clients, vendors, contractors, and other Project Farma team members to support projects related to biomanufacturing across the entire engineering lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering high quality work, forming and maintaining valuable, long-term relationships with our clients, and continually strengthening your technical and industry knowledge. Key Responsibilities Produce key project controls deliverables, including: Budget estimates Detailed project schedules and milestones Feasibility estimates, risks, forecasts, and scenario analysis Project cost reports and trend analysis Comprehensive monthly project summary reports Analyze complex project data and then deliver clear, articulate, and concise messages in a compelling manner to support decision making. Gain a general understanding of Earned Value Analysis and PO management tools. Update internal site tools such as site dashboards, deliverable trackers, etc. Examples of our core services within the life science space, include: Capital Project Management (including Project Controls and Scheduling); Facility Management & Builds; Tech Transfers; Validation Life Cycle (including Commissioning and Qualification, Process Validation, Computer System Validation, etc.); GxP Automated Systems; Due Diligence & Business Strategy; Quality, Regulatory, & Compliance. Required Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related discipline and/or comparable military experience. Systems savvy, including Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project a plus. Other Required Full-time on-site client presence. Willingness to travel as required to support project and business needs. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
