Entry-Level Quality Control Inspector – Diesel Engines Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Control Inspector to support our diesel engine manufacturing and assembly operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build foundational skills in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, and regulated manufacturing environments. Training is provided for motivated candidates. Responsibilities • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on diesel engine components and assemblies. • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment to verify tolerances. • Inspect cylinder heads, pistons, crankshafts, injectors, and other critical diesel engine parts. • Utilize vision systems and diagnostic tools to confirm part conformity. • Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality findings accurately. • Assist with continuous improvement and defect-reduction initiatives. • Support calibration and basic maintenance of measurement equipment. Requirements • Basic understanding of mechanical systems; diesel engine knowledge is a plus. • Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges) preferred. • Ability to interpret simple technical drawings and specifications. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Experience in manufacturing or quality control is helpful but not required—training provided.
