About Us Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc). Role Overview This is not any event planning role - Perfect Venue is an event technology company after all. We are looking for a highly motivated Event Specialist to join our team to make sure that Perfect Venue is known for throwing nothing but world class events. This role blends sales, event planning, and marketing. You’ll be the face of Perfect Venue for both new clients you source and inbound leads, ensuring that every event booked through our marketplace is a success. You’ll also plan other events, conferences, and off-sites that bring our own team together. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a passion for events. This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco Office. Key Responsibilities Grow Event Planner Bookings Reach out to new potential clients to introduce them to Perfect Venue to book venues. Create and execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness and new business to the marketplace (ie events for event planners, social media, etc). Event Planner Success Manage inbound inquiries and ensure prospective clients are guided through the booking process. Support clients in planning and executing events to ensure a seamless experience. Collaborate with venues to confirm details and resolve challenges. Build strong relationships with event planners to drive repeat business. Company Event Planning & Execution Plan and manage Perfect Venue’s own events, including customer events, team off-sites and conferences. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in event planning, sales, hospitality, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-moving environment. Creative thinker with an eye for marketing and client experience. Passion for events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
