We’re currently seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support operations at a 200+ unit apartment community in Jersey City. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment and wants to grow with a strong, nationwide operator. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep the community in top shape, with a fully comped onsite unit and utilities provided to support your on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities • Complete resident work orders, unit turns, and make-readies • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic carpentry issues • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain parts inventory • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager, and vendors Qualifications • 2+ years of residential building maintenance experience • HVAC certification • Must live on-site and participate in the on-call rotation • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record • Strong customer service, communication, and safety mindset Perks • Earn up to $26/hr plus free housing • Generous time off: 10 paid holidays annually and up to 15 days of PTO in year one • Comprehensive benefits: 90%+ employer-covered health insurance, fully paid dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) with discretionary dollar-for-dollar company match and potential profit-sharing • Professional growth and training opportunities, plus seasonal summer hours
