Full Description

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating, enforcing, and enhancing work standards, assigning program schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising program personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. The Program Manager also tracks and accounts for government-provided equipment approved to be on or off-site in the performance of the resulting contract. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall contract performance and shall not serve in any other capacity under the resulting contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all staffing decisions made under the execution of this contract. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Will work in collaboration with Program Management Office and stakeholders to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project reporting. Direct and support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provide management services, including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 16 years work experience 5+ years’ experience in IT support/service management or related field. Must have the ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to communicate and present ideas, information, and reports. Proven leadership experience managing personnel across multiple functional task areas. Strong understanding of information technology applications and services, including network operations, computer and communication systems, related protocols, and industry best practices, as well as familiarity with federal information security requirements and device configuration standards. Experience providing supervisory oversight and coordinating tasks. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 Foundations certification. US citizenship required and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience working with Project Lifecycle Methodologies (PMLC) methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines. Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
